This is a basic level course, designed to develop computer skills for Operating Engineers.

Topics include:

Getting started with Windows Explorer-navigating; creating folders; copying, moving, and pasting files; renaming; deleting; searching
Using Microsoft Word-menus; creating files; formatting text; saving; printing
Connecting Through Email-creating an email account; using menus; creating an email; attaching files; replying to messages
Browsing the Internet- basic search strategies; locating safety information and regulations

Who should take this course? Those who would like to learn basic computer skills specific to Operating Engineers.

Course Length: You have 2 weeks from the time of registration to complete your course. The course takes approximately 4-5 hours to complete. Please allow up to 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, to process your request.

Requirements: Windows XP Operating System; Valid email address & high speed internet.

Certification: This course is for general interest. There is no certification.
