Excavator Operator
This course provides the fundamentals of safety, equipment characteristics, operation, transportation and maintenance that apply to heavy equipment in the construction industry. It will focus on the specifics of an excavator and provide ample instruction and seat time for the student to become familiar with its unique operating characteristics and applications.

| Format: |
Classroom, laboratory activities, and hands-on training with emphasis on practical operating skills on an excavator. This course includes the two-week Fundamentals of Heavy Equipment followed by four weeks of practical field training. |
