Load Securement Workshop

This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge to properly apply, inspect and maintain various tie-down devices according to applicable regulations, while practical exercises allow students to secure equipment to a trailer using various tie-down devices.

16 hours over two days

Prerequisite: None
Format:

Eight hours of theory training covering regulations, types of load securement devices, loading and unloading techniques, and types of transport vehicles. Another eight hours of practical exercises using various tie-down devices.
