Instructional Design Systems

This workshop is for training facilities and instructional staff who are presently conducting training. There are no pre-requisites for this workshop although some experience with course development or design could be of assistance to the participant. The workshop is intended to provide instructors with a training design process they will be able to apply in their workplace.

 

In this workshop participants will learn a systematic approach to training design.

They will conduct a micro course design as part of their learning activities. Candidates are asked to bring along a course design project they are currently undertaking or one which they anticipate designing in the near future. Time is set aside for individual project work. Lessons learned from the group project can be applied to the individual project. Participants can work individually or in specialized teams. 

Duration:

32 hours over four days

Prerequisite: BTNI or equivalent training experience

Classroom theory, case studies, working groups, presentations by participants
