A Day in the Life
of a Mobile Crane Operator

Mobile crane operators are in demand and often have the opportunity to travel! From urban to rural, housing to bridges, factories to oil refineries, power plants to mining operations — most construction projects and maintenance facilities require the versatility of a mobile crane.

Jobs for the mobile crane are typically short, so operators can go to multiple jobsites on the same day. While ten-hour workdays are fairly common, you may be required to work longer days and weekends to meet deadlines.
