A Day in the Life
of a Excavator Operator

Excavator operators most commonly work on small individual housing projects up to large subdivisions, large building projects such as manufacturing plants, hospitals, schools, and shopping centres, and large road building projects such as highways.

Operators should be physically fit and have good hand-eye coordination. As team players with a strong work ethic, they are always punctual and reliable. Operators have to meet deadlines and know they have to be ready to work long hours and weekends, and travel when required.
