Ground Disturbance

This eLearning course is approximately 4 hours and is a national initiative which focuses on best practices for working around buried utilities with a focus on Construction Safety Training.

Topics include:

  • Introduction to Ground Disturbance

  • Safety

  • Pre-Excavation Procedures

  • Excavation Procedures

  • Post-Excavation Procedures

Who should take this course: 

  • Workers whose employers require it as a condition of employment.

Course Length: 

  •  The eLearning course takes approximately 4 hours to complete. Please allow up to 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, to process your request. 

​Requirements: 

  • Valid email address

 

Certification: 

  • Upon completion, you will be emailed your certificate. This course expires every 3 years.

 

Cost: 

  • Free to IUOE, Local 793 members.  Non-Members $100.00
