Concrete Pump Apprenticeship
The concrete pump is used to transfer liquid concrete from a concrete transport to its final location. The pump is mounted on the back of a truck along with an articulating robotic arm (boom). The operator uses a remote control to maneuever the boom to the desired location.
This program provides the fundamentals of safety, equipment characteristics, and operational practices that apply to concrete pump; and provides ample hands-on practice to develop the basic skills of concrete pump operation and maintenance.
